I have this TV for about a month now and all I can say is that I am happy to have spent a little extra money on this TV. I did extensive research online and person trying to find the best product out there and I am convinced that this decision was correct.
It is very easy to configure. He did had more time to screw on the base / medium to connect and configure the TV.
I saw this same model for retail $ 3500 and I thought that was ridiculous, but when I saw it on Amazon for $ 1999, I had to jump on this offer. It was truly sentence. HD cable for PS3 Games and Blu-Rays, this television offers an amazing clarity and image quality. I know that most people are not worth it, but I found online calibration parameters and some of the custom picture settings to what I feel, is to optimize quality. A simple search on google for calibration UN46b8500 "provide many options for getting the most out of TV.
I have very few negative things to say about this TV. Firstly, as I am sure you have read, the remote is quite crappy. It's very pretty, and it lights up when you use it (and, unfortunately, whenever there is a slight movement in the room which causes the batteries to die quickly). It is not as sensitive as I would like, especially when used with PC with DLNA. That pretty much allows me to watch any video I have on my PC streaming, or watch all my photos or listen to music I have on my PC. This feature is great, but the remote, it is slow and frustrating. But still, it is an interesting option. It also comes with a small remote control that resembles a computer mouse mixed with an iPod. But I did not even bother with it. It is always with all manuals and documents that I had with the TV.
I heard the sound quality to be poor television as well. The sound is okay, but it is not something special. If you want quality sound, you will need to obtain a system Home Theater Systems, like all other TVs on the market.
Finally, I bought this TV because Samsung was in the right direction in regard to the best image of the TV production market. This series is essentially an exclusive chance to get the local dimming LED. Samsung is currently using the best technology to make the best TV, but now they are catering to the crowd in 3D and put their resources into making things come out of the screen with glasses instead of worrying about the image quality. So if you can find this model for about $ 2,000, I would buy ASAP because they will not be much longer.

Best picture I've ever seen
It is a statement from someone who, until recently, has never been happy with his current TV.
If your budget allows, make yourself a favor and buy this set. After months of research and debate and not spend the money, I finally made the decision to purchase and beyond'm glad I did.
When the first clash TV, I scanned the guide to see what movies were CGI – came to Horton Hears A Who. In HD, this movie was honestly the picture quality Blu-ray. Some pictures look so perfect that they seem to be in 3D. I also recently linked the TV with the Samsung HT-C6730W & looked Avatar – Flawless. Something as simple as the movement in the menus Opening of Transformers 2 and James Bond Quantum of Solace (Blu-ray) on this set compared to an LCD 120 Hz is clearly visible. For me it was an excellent example of how detailed the TV is.

Image good, TV good, all good.
I will not spend too much time examining television because I think it was discontinued due to patent infringement. I'm sure the 9000 new range is even better if then consider this as "Samsung TV" review.
The picture is incredible! Black fantastic quality and very deep – which will be the regional LED work. The game is simple, I'm running an Xbox through it, so just one HDMI input for me. I also connected the TV on the web that I can use the extras. They all work fine, but the Xbox will offer me all over the Amazon application functionality Netflix etc. I do not really use the Samsung. The sound is acceptable, but now I have a nice TV, I think I'll go to work Decent sound system as well.
The TV itself is fantastic, it is so thin. The media is also quite thin too. I does the plastic around the screen is simple and pretty thin. TV with lots of extra "box" around the actual size of the screen just seem like a loss for me.
In summary, there has been an excellent purchase that I am very happy with. I bought Samsung monitors in the past and have always been satisfied with their products. Their quality can not rival that of the Sony without the extra price tag.
