Is ‘Quick DVD Copy’ safe.? (to copy Wii games)?
I am looking for a simple, quick and easy to use software that does not require any type of hardware to copy and play Wii and Gamecube games like the originals. Is Quick DVD Copy safe to use and download.? If not, could you recommend something else to copy Wii and Gamecube games.?

Don’t know where you heard this, but it doesn’t even logically make sense and it’s not true. Copying a game involves reading the original and writing to a backup… nothing changes on the original. So by your logic, playing a game ruins it so we shouldn’t play games (by the way, discs were made to be read… so they can stand up to whatever the laser can throw at them).

Hacking a Wii is not piracy, nor is backing up original games which is what this question is about (most country’s copyright laws allow for one backup of any digital media that uses a disc… console games included). USUALLY people will hack their Wii for piracy, but sometimes it’s legitimately for just backups so you can’t jump to that assumption and say that it’s against Yahoo Answer’s policy.
Ok, now for the answer:
Unless you have a very specific model LG DVD drive, you will not be able to read Wii discs on your computer. You’ll have to use Wii Dumper on a hacked Wii to send the disc image to your computer. Once it’s on your computer, “Quick DVD Copy” will probably work (I haven’t tested it, but in theory any disc burning program will work).
However, just use ImgBurn. It’s a free program and is the most common one for burning games for any console (get it at www.imgburn.com). It’s just reliable, simple and free so it’s hard to complain about it.
